Cinnamon: cooking and supplements are different uses

Cinnamon can flavour food. Perceived sweetness does not prove treatment of glucose or weight loss.

Two uses to distinguish : Cooking, Supplement. Conceptual illustration; see the guide for explanations and sources.

What to expect

A culinary spice and an extract capsule are not equivalent. If an advertisement invokes a therapeutic effect, look for what was studied and its form. Do not use a supplement to change diabetes treatment. For everyday food, choose cinnamon as seasoning.

Use flavour without extrapolation

Add a culinary amount to taste to fruit compote or oats. Compare the complete recipe, including added ingredients, rather than claiming that aroma cancels their contribution. If considering capsules or an extract, create a separate file on composition and precautions: a recipe does not validate that product.

EXAMPLE / HOW TO USE IT

An example to adapt

Flavour yoghurt or an oat preparation to taste. Compare the whole recipe rather than calling it fat-burning because of the spice.
