“Drainage” products: distinguish water, fat and symptoms

A temporary weight drop does not demonstrate fat loss. “Drainage” and “detox” do not replace a precise outcome definition.

Measurements to keep separate : Water, Body fat. Conceptual illustration; see the guide for explanations and sources.

Name the promised outcome

Record whether the advertisement mentions urine, lightness, waist size or fat mass. These observations are not interchangeable. Photographs or weights taken under different conditions cannot identify what changed. Ask which measurement was used in the cited publication.

Check the formula and combinations

A drink, capsule and infusion with similar names may differ in composition. List plants, quantities and other products used. A “natural” product may require interaction assessment. Do not strengthen an effect by combining mixtures or arbitrarily increasing quantities.

Do not conceal a symptom

New swelling or an unusual change in your condition cannot be diagnosed through a drainage advertisement. Seek an appropriate medical assessment. Prescribed diuretics have indications and monitoring; they are not interchangeable with slimming products. This page provides no dehydration method to lower the scales.

EXAMPLE / HOW TO USE IT

Read an advertisement

Fictional claim: “two kilos less in two days”. Missing: composition of the change, measurement conditions, comparator, tolerability and maintenance. Even an accurate weighing does not demonstrate two kilos of fat lost or a lasting benefit.
